White booty socks or even white ankle socks. I will even allow for some rockin 80's tube socks. But you're not European, and you should be proud of that fact.

Ok, well, I boycott all white socks as a serious fashion mistake.

As a rule, I purchase only crew length and ankle socks, each in gray and black. The black ones looked perfectly fine considering that I was wearing black shorts.

I only wear white socks to the gym (booty socks are perfect. Almost invisible.) Everywhere else it's colored fun socks.
